Community Medical Center Named Top 20 Critical Access Hospital by NRHA in 2019
The National Rural Health Association recognizes the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals from a list of the Top 100 CAHs as determined by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. The 20 overall winners (in the quality and patient satisfaction categories) have achieved success based on the Hospital Strength Index . The INDEX is the industry’s most comprehensive rating of rural providers. It provides the data foundation for the annual Rural Relevance Study and its results are the basis for many of rural healthcare’s most prominent awards, advocacy efforts and legislative initiatives.
“This achievement is very gratifying. We work hard to provide the best health care possible while maintaining an efficient and effective facility,” said Ryan Larsen, hospital administrator. “While the most important feedback we get is in the lives in our patients and their families, it is nice to have an outside voice tell us we are doing well. I’m very proud of our staff.”
