The Falls City Area Ministerial Association (FCAMA) is a group of clergy who seek to collaborate in meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents of the Falls City Area. In addition to providing spiritual care through opportunities for worship in our respective congregations and together (in Lent, for example, with our "Sermons a la Carte" series on Fridays), we have a number of occasional and on-going ministries to serve our neighbors.
Perhaps the most important service is the
FCAMA Helpline
, which is funded by donations from area individuals and congregations, and staffed by volunteers. These volunteers answer calls and work to assess people’s needs and to find resources that will help to support these individuals or families during difficult times.
Helpline phone number is
402-245-6111
.
FCAMA also hosts a Thanksgiving Basket Ministry, providing all the ingredients to make a ham dinner at home to people in need in our communities. Those who wish to have a meal can call the Helpline to reserve their basket, which will be delivered the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
During the month of June and July the kids Summer Food Service Program is providing area youth lunches at the St. Paul’s Church located at 20th & Towle Street in Falls City.
FCAMA does not operate an independent website, but descriptions of these programs and activities can be found on the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church link:
